Creating a Plan out of a Series of Workouts

Do you like a set of workouts that you created for one of your clients? If you do, and think you may use the same series of workouts again, you can create a Training Plan from those workouts! To do this, please follow the steps below:

1) Log in to your Coach Edition account and click on the Training and Meals Icon

2) Click New Plan and name that Plan

3)  Make any modifications you would like in the “Edit” window. Then click Save and Close.

4) Now, you will see that your New Training Plan is set up and ready to be built out.   You can tell this is the Training Plan you are working on by the title next to “Current User”

5) Open the People Library to pull up your client list

6) Click on the client whose schedule you would like to use for the Plan.  Click on More and select Calendar two. Now the new plan and the client’s calendar are side by side.

7) Copy multiple weeks at a time by clicking on a day on the client’s calendar, hold the SHIFT key down on your keyboard, and select the day you would like to copy until. This will highlight all of these days.  Select “Copy Select Items.”

8) Now, click on the small arrow within first day on the Training Plan Calendar and choose “Paste Items.”

9) Continue doing the copy and pasting over from the client’s calendar to the Training Plan until you are finished. There will be no need to save the Training Plan, as all Plans save by themselves.

*Extra tips:

- Hide the Week Summary when you are doing this to allow for more room to work! You can hide the Week Summary from within My Settings, under the Calendar & Layout tab.

- Adjust the Calendar view so that it shows 6 weeks at a time.  This way, you can copy and paste more weeks of workouts at a time over to your plan!

Managing Pod Layouts

Would you like your clients to see the same Pod Layout as you do? No problem! You can do this for the Dashboard view, Workout Detail View, or the Meal Detail View.  Just follow the steps below to create a Pod Layout to share to your clients so they can apply the same Pod Layout to their account:

Step 1

  • Click on My Settings
  • Click on the Manage Pod Layout tab
  • Click on either the Dashboard, Workout Detail, or Meal Detail View — whichever you would like to create a Pod Layout for.
  • Click on “Create new pod layout”

Step 2

  • Name the Pod Layout. Your clients will see the title of this Pod Layout.
  • Once the title has been created, exit out of My Settings
  • Open the View for the Pod Layout you are creating. Note: In this example, we are using the Dashboard View for a Pod Layout
  • Click on View
  • Choose Current Pod Layout
  • Click on the Title you just created.  Note: This view will probably be empty.

Step 3

  • Add the Pods you would like your client(s) to see to this Pod Layout.

Step 4

  • Now the pod view is complete.
  • If you want to share the Pod Layout you just created with others, click on View then select Manage Pod Layout.

Step 5

  • Click the “share to client” link listed next to that specific pod layout.  This will allow you to pass it down to your clients.

This two-minute video will show you how to assign clients to categories within your Coach Edition account.  You’ll be able to message groups of similar clients and better organize your client list by using the Categories functionality.

Organizing Your Training Libraries

  1. Open a Training Library
  2. Click on a Workout
  3. Click on the Move Button
  4. Change the Library that you want to save it to

Using different Workout Libraries can help you organize your Workouts!  Just choose a method in which you would like to classify the workouts, build out several Libraries, and start moving/creating workouts for each of those Libraries.
